Dear High School Families,

If you have a student that is planning on playing high school sports this upcoming year, please read below. If you do not, then you may ignore this message.

We are excited to announce a district-wide mandatory Parent/Guardian Meeting for all parents/guardians of student-athletes who plan to participate in any sport during the 2025–26 school year—whether in the fall, winter, or spring seasons.

For the first time, we are bringing together families from all high schools - Marin Oaks High School, Novato High School, San Marin High School, and NOVA Independent Study - for one unified meeting. This collaboration reflects our commitment as one district to uphold the same values, expectations, and policies across our athletic programs. Our goal is to ensure that all families receive a consistent message and clear understanding of district guidelines while also fostering a sense of community and mutual support between our two schools.

At this meeting, you will hear directly from our Superintendent, Principals, and Athletic Directors about important district policies, expectations for the year ahead, and how we can work together to support our student-athletes both on and off the field.

Your attendance is required. 

This meeting will provide essential information and set the tone for a successful, unified, and supportive athletic experience throughout the year.
